Opinion: Proposition 2 Endangers Idaho's Way of Life
Ken Pursley, the Idaho Chapter's board chair, presents The Nature Conservancy's opposition to Proposition 2 in this editorial in the Idaho Statesman.

One of the reasons I support the nature conservancy is the fact that my donations are put to work directly protecting and improving property. This is different than any of the other organizations that I know of, who are mainly political organizations that lobby for more and more restrictive regulations.
I am very disappointed that the nature conservancy has chosen to cross the line to become a political animal. While I do not disagree with your political stand, I will no longer be supporting the organizations because of this.
